Where lies the heart?
You could see the eyes, the face, the body. But the heart can never be seen.
Where lies the heart?
Often, we remember people. We were told when young, to remember the face, the shapely contours unique to everyone. Lovers instinctively knew to memorize the body of their significant halves. The deaf read the motions, the blind listen - the handicapped feel.
Where lies the heart?
Let me tell you, looks matter not for no one is the same. Look not for the physical, for many years down the road, you'll forget how the person looks like. You'll forget the happy times you spent with the person, and the sad times shared as common damsels in distress.
The heart lies, just beside yours.
A person... remembers not the face, nor the memories... but the heart.
Because your brain can fail to recall them, but your heart would always know where someone dear to you is. You may never remember who the person was, never see that person again in your life...
But the heart.... their heart.... will forever lie right next to yours.

Three views here from myself..
A greater failure lies not in the inability to think, but of mistaken beliefs and thoughts.
Common perspectives make up common rules. But inevitably, they are all still perspectives, and perspectives are not enough for judgment.
One creation brings destruction. Actions spark off a re-action, because every force you use incurs an opposing force.

Let me walk down the path full of roses.
Where sunlight shines down upon me and life's full of love.
Even when the rain comes I'll keep my chin up high and face the storm.
`Cos there's nothing that's forever.
I saw you strolling on the opposite road, a face full of worry.
Gave you a wave and a simple 'hi there, ain't the weather great today?'
And the world just turns brighter minute by the minute.
Don't we just need someone to remind us of angels?
Let's make lemonade out of sourest lemons the universe throws at you.
Let's see the sliver lining out of the skies' darkest clouds.
Let's not think of 'if only' but 'what's next?'
`Cos the world's hard only when you see it that way~

We part, and meet, and we part again.
This endless cycle makes me tire from you, from keeping in contact. But there's no choice.
During the rainy days, I mark a calendar, red for days you made me laugh and black for when you made my heart shatter.
Always, I had hoped for miracles; but you played me like a harp with your fake smiles and gestures.
And now, I'm at a loss of what to do.. Should I give up on you totally? Or are some of your smiles for real?
When I take a stroll in the softly pelting rain, I laugh and I cry, and the rain hides me away... I'm thinking of you and me, even now.
I'll wait and search for you, at the shelter, and the station, if only I could catch a glimpse of you.
Just like how the rain hides my tears away, I'll make sure yours will never fall. I'll stand by you, silently if need be, because your smile's worth more than anything to me.
Look behind whenever you are down, for there's always a silly me in the background holding chocolates to cheer you up, and roses to replace the ones you've lost.
But I'll still cry in the rain and the cycle repeats again and again...
